What?
Both leaked Sin armors are reskins.
Both leaked Elem armors are reskins.
All four leaked Mesmer armors are reskins.
The only leaked Necro armor is a reskin.
Both leaked Ranger armors are reskins.
Both leaked Warrior armors are reskins.
Three of four leaked Monk armors are reskins.

Granted, only one of the two leaked Ritualist armors is a reskin, and I can't tell on Paras and Dervs too well, not as familiar with their armor. But it would take an enormous amount of fuzzy math to claim that "{t}here's at least one set per class that uses a new model, not a reskin" - it just ain't so.

Most of them just look like reskinned old armours. I liked the monk fur lined, and the ranger armour. Once again all paragon armour looks the same, mesmers and eles have crap.

Go back and read some of my previous posts. A lot of these sets were shown in recent trailers/screenshots, and these leaked pics were shown before any of those.

most of there reskins WERENT in trailers. Just those ranger, and samurai derv and monk was in it. No reskined warrs and shit. In press release was one shiny warr armor, reskined fow boots/gloves for ranger, and some air magic armor. Not these luxon reskins.

and please show me one trailer that shows these reskins inside.

Most of these reskins have been shown in previews and renders. Anet never show off all the armors before release (Never did with Factions or Nightfall). While the armor your talking about hasnt been shown it doesnt mean its fake. See this post:

If hes taken the time to hack the data file to find these new armors why would he create a set rather than get the real warrior sets?

I'd be pretty disappointed if those crappy reskins were in the actual game.

WTF! ... that male ranger pic. he has 19/1337 character slots left? .. wonder if that's fake, or does someone have too much money to have such a "leet (1337)" amount of character slots? :P

actually, they are technically NOT reskins because the model varies slightly from the base set they used. I checked most of them and there are a few changes (coat length, collar, spikes, sin blades, etc...) Yes, even the Mesmer stuff has slight changes.

I still think they should have thought up totally different, original armor. I mean.. cmon.. the whole point of this is making new content for old characters.. Similar looking armor? not new..

well, really sad to see reskin armors, or with slightly changes... bad move from ANET.

btw , I can see on the screen shots that characters are PvP only , that means for sure that aren't 15k armors.

Another think, I just remember now, before nightfall cames out, i was able to see the new armors sets(not 15k armors and for pvp only , exactly the same as this time) with my special event account (bug? maybe...) I took some screens in that moment and posted in a spanish forum (buff I don't remember what forum right now), but in the real product all armors where differents , so maybe this will be not the final version of this armor sets .

cheers.

EDIT= I tried with the events account and nothing , no luck this time

they should fire their armor designing department -__-

there are npc's and enemy mosnter armors look way better, some of these armors just pale in comparison, maybe they should allow these guys to design new armor instead of these current half-assed re-skinners.

Magma hands

Geo hands

Icey hands

I really can't say whether or not all the armor pics are real, but these three screenshots... If someone's good enough to mod the ranger hands into elemental hands, I don't see why they wouldn't be good enought to mod skins and models for the armors.

Also...I just can't bring myself to believe that ANet would create a monstrosity like this and expect people to spend their in-game cash on it.

However, I really wouldn't mind having this armor.

I hope to god these are fake, its sad that every war armor is a cheap crappy reskin... not to mention countless other armors.

idk it seems kinda lame to just put a different pattern on a lot of existing skins. maybe we can do certain upgrades to pre existing armor? but thats seems more wishful thinking than logical. either way a lot of them do look pretty cool.

That's what I was thinking when I saw one of the first videos on GW:EN to be posted. I was looking at him scrolling through the log in screen looking at different armor and the sin armor looked like Cantha armor but just modded a bit. Also I thought I heard him used some kind of word like "unlocking" armor that made it seem like even in PvE it's something you unlock, like an upgraded look mod.

That would make the statement that there are 40 new armors though sort of a lie. So far I'm only sure of these being new armors, though the necro armor looks too close to Luxon armor for me to consider it totally new.

still, private server armors dont convince me
texture mod is just too easy to use, sry.
maybe a couple of those on that page, but defenitly not all.

More than just "a couple" of those armors have been shown elsewere. Too much of a coincidence. We'll see in a week if they are fake or not.

Well im not sure how many exactly, but i think you can only buy 26 extra slots.

Prolly a dev server if they have 1337 slots
